The online world has grown up so much since we started Lava early in 2001. At Lava, we love pushing the boundaries of great web design, and refernecing other benchmark work done by our peers worldwide. The www.newzealand.com tourism site is a great example and has set new standards both in design and technical implementation. Check it out and make sure you scroll (way) down the page. The use of photography with overlaid content and navigation creates an almost stop-motion feel, and truely engages the user and immerses them in the subject. Amazing!
