Winner of the qantm create design awards 2011

Wow… we are absolutely delighted to advise you that last Thursday the 22nd of September Lava’s RDNS Reflections online museum project was announced the winner of the best Website category in the 2011 Qantm Create Design Award. Undoubtedly regarded as one of the most sought after awards in both the creative and digital industries, the CREATE award is truly an honor and a great reflection on the Lava team. We were shortlisted in the 2010 awards, and this year we have bettered that with the top position.

The announcement came at a gala event held at The Forum Theatre in Melbourne, in front of an audience of 500 of our peers. We want to express our genuine surprise and gratitude to Qantm College, Desktop magazine, the judges who gave up a huge amount of their time, along with the event sponsors. Lava’s team is humbled and proud of this recognition.

We would like to take this opportunity to say a huge thanks to Evan Gordon - General Manager - Marketing and Planning, Nelly Vagana - Trust Submission Writer, and the trust of the dedicated and passionate team at the Royal District Nursing Service. You placed great trust in Lava taking on a project that reflects your full 125-year history. We grabbed the opportunity and ran with it, and we thank you for your dedication and extremely constructive attitude throughout.

Likewise, I would personally like to pass on my sincere thanks to our dedicated team at Lava. You have worked hard for this reward, and for this particular project, I am delighted that all of our key contributors were involved. We got to use our full skill set from planning and design, to programming, animation, audio composition and photography. You really do deserve this recognition. Well done! Onwards and upwards!
