Offline Systems Integration
It’d be fair to say most people that shop online have experienced when buying an item, only to be told later by the online store that it’s in fact sold out. There’s also a flip side, for the business selling the goods and managing warehouse stock.
Whilst many firms have had this task on their long term to do list, at Lava we believe 2012 represents an ideal (and necessary) time to truly embrace integrating our e-commerce websites with offline systems for stock management and accounting. We have done this for our clients www.elkaccessories.com.au and www.keepcup.com to great effect. Their warehouse stock (items, details, and quantities) now directly synch up with their public and trade website interfaces. Likewise, when an order is placed these details synch down to their offline warehousing software, which then handles fulfillment, identifies the need for reorders, and recording all of these details into accounting systems.
Lava has a lot of experience working with these offline systems, so have a chat to us about what’s possible. We can help you with planning and implementation.
