Lava Laundry Lounge confirms its order for the latest generation IPSO laundry equipment

The primary driver behind every decision we make in the selection of equipment and in the fitout of Lava Laundry lounge is to provide you with a facility without compromise. We want your business and to do this we know the we need to provide you with a laundry that lets you save your valuable time dealing with your weekly wash, gives you a cleaner result than what you can achieve in using your own washer, and lets you do this in a venue that is more comfortable than your own apartment's laundry.

For equipment we have selected IPSO soft-mount high g-force full industrial grade washing machines in 8kg through to 18kg capacity, and high capacity gas dryers from 14kg up to the massive 22kg dryer. We did this for IPSO's winning reputation for reliability, quality, and efficiency. IPSO is Europe's most dependable manufacturer of commerical laundry equipment who push their machines past their breaking point in their extensive test laboratories to ensure they give customers a reliable, efficient, and sophisticated experience by the time they are deployed.

THE HIGH G-FORCE BENEFITS

High spin speeds are needed to generate 'G force'. G force is the amount of pressure being exerted on clothes during the high speed final spin. The higher the G force, the more water that is removed from the fabrics during final rinse. Less water in your fabrics results in faster drying times saving you money and giving you less wear and tear on your valuable fabrics.

The benefits also extend to give you a much cleaner and softer end result for reasons that there is less final rinse water and soap residue left in your clothes to ultimately be dried into your fabrics.

Lava machines spin to 350g's. To achieve this type of energy, machines must be "soft mount" where internal springs and absorbers handle any off-balance loads. Soft mount machines are more expensive to buy than hard mount machines, however our selection of these machines for your use is part of our no-compromise commitment in providing you with the very best service and facility.

INDUSTRIAL SPECIFICATION MACHINES

The front loader washing machines typically found in laundrettes are based on domestic machines with minor modifications to make them semi-commercial or commercial. These machines are not as reliable as an industrial machine when exposed to the repetitive use and rigours that are dished out in a self-service coin laundry. All of our IPSO machine models are built from the ground up for the laundrette and on-premise laundry applications which leads to a cleaner wash, in less time, and with a substantially reduced exposure to the possibilities of machine malfunction which may inconvenience you during your use.

Hi and Welcome to Lava Laundry Lounge, Perth's first luxury coin laundry which is being constructed at 181 Adelaide Terrace in East Perth (in the Fairlanes Building, just behind Buddha Espresso).

As a result of an approval received today from the City of Perth, Lava is now in full preparation for an opening to occur in October 2016 and we can't wait to be of service to you.

The purpose of this Blog is to engage with you as a Perth inner city resident and update you with the progress of Lava as we prepare to welcome you as a valued customer.

The catalyst for Lava and the primary driver behind every decision we make in Lava's design and specifications is to provide Perth inner city apartment residents with a coin laundry (laundrette) facility without compromise. We are mindful that most city apartment occupants have their own apartment laundry appliances, but we also know that you are all busy people and in most cases have a combined laundry/bathroom with domestic equipment that does not allow you to deal with your washing and drying in a quick and efficient manner.

To get your valued business we are building you a convenient alternative that will:

1. enable you to save a large chunk of your time dealing with your weekly wash and dry;
2. give you a cleaner result than what you can achieve using your own domestic equipment;
3. let you avoid drying your clothes in a small, wall hung, electric dryer that is expensive to run and pumps moist air around your apartment,
4. let you avoid breaking strata rules and spoiling your apartment's street aspect with your occasional balcony clothes drying sessions.

Lava solves these issues by giving you a facility to deal with all of your weekly washing and drying needs in under one hour combined, anytime between 7am and 10:30pm, every day of the year. It lets you do this in a venue that is safe, clean, relaxing, and more comfortable than your own apartment's bathroom/laundry. If you don't want to do the laundry yourself, you can also just drop it in and utilise our Bag Wash (wash, dry, & fold) service.
